Strathpeffer Village

Strathpeffer Village Square

When the Victorians descended in huge numbers to partake of the waters from the spa - the village had to cater for many visitors from all parts of the world, a tradition little changed even now. Today, with much improved communications, Strathpeffer is as popular with holiday makers as it ever was. With the newly built Pump Room in the square, visitors can still take the water.

The old disused Victorian Railway Station has recently been restored to its former glory, now as a local crafts centre, and is only a minutes walk from the village square.

The village has its own superb 18 hole golf course enjoying spectacular views to the mountains, the West coast and along the picturesque Strathpeffer valley.
